Prof. Latulippe has recently participated in teaching courses for the S-STEM Grant project including a corequisite precalculus and calculus course. He has also taught elementary statistics for the last few years.
His research focuses on better understanding how Alzheimer’s disease affects synaptic transmission between neurons in the brain by utilizing mathematical models to study calcium regulation in Alzheimer’s disease environments. He is also interested in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
As the Academic Advising Coordinator, Prof. Latulippe oversees the undergraduate advising program at Norwich. His responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of academic advising, developing appropriate advising procedures, coordinating new student and advisor orientation programs, facilitating advisor trainings and workshops, coordinating yearly assessment of all aspects of academic advising and providing recommendations for improving advising.
In his role as the Faculty Athletic Representative, he ensures the academic integrity of the athletic program, acts as a liaison between the athletic department and academics, and works to ensure student-athlete wellbeing.
