HopeSpring was founded in 1995 by group of dedicated individuals who were committed to providing vital information, programs, services, and support to Waterloo Region residents affected by cancer. We are community-based non-for-profit organization that does not receive government funding and depends on donations from organizations and individuals in our region. We are committed to empowering those whose lives are impacted by cancer to improve their emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. We offer free services (wigs, headcovers, camisoles, and face masks), emotional support programs, gentle physical programs, relaxation programs, coping mechanism supports, financial support program resources, and family program to cancer patients, their caregivers, and their families. Our services have been expanded to Wellington and Grey Bruce regions.

We are leading organization to step up to respond to essential service delivery increase in requests for wigs, camisoles, caps from our community and beyond during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the financial hurdles many cancer patients and their families, our face, our free wig, camisole, cap program has become a vital service in our Region and surrounding areas.

We are proud to have strong community support from hospitals, hospice, cancer centres, community centres, counselling centres, and much more. We provide essential services to cancer patients, caregivers, and their family throughout their cancer journey in Waterloo, Wellington, and Grey Bruce Regions.
