Dalhousie Corporate Residency MBA

Dalhousie University is a U15 Canadian Research Institution located in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Canada’s beautiful East Coast. At Dalhousie we offer students a different kind of MBA experience.

Our MBA program offers a 22-month innovative, industry-informed and rigorous curriculum combined with an 8-month paid work experience (corporate residency) where students make on average $30K, and 95% have secured employment in their field of choice within 6 months of graduation. The goal of our program is to help high achieving, self-motivated individuals with leadership potential launch their careers and accelerate their professional development.

Our first-year integrated core curriculum of business courses provides a solid foundation for advanced study and success on the corporate residency. In addition to further exploration of the functional areas of business, 2nd-year students leverage the Faculty of Management’s unique, inter-disciplinary, values-led approach to management education. Students within our program can choose to focus their degree electives into four areas: Finance, Marketing, Enterprise Analytics, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Additionally, unique to Dalhousie is our Personal and Professional Effectiveness (PPE) curriculum which dives into the hidden world that separates good from great. Focused broadly on skills related to leadership development and career management, these modules are accompanied by opportunities for individual coaching to support each student’s efforts to set and achieve professional development goals.
