Religious persecution has gone on for centuries and continues to happen today all over the world, including the United States. Although many countries have made strides towards acceptance, others continue to harass, degrade, or even kill people for practicing a different religion. This level of persecution was also seen in events leading up to WWII.
My works encourage acceptance of other’s religions and thoughts. The colors and religious symbols come together to create a sense of unity across multiple of the posters. In order to emphasize the fear of those who suffer persecution, I created one poster that has a more serious depiction of oppression.
