Researching the Application of Green Chemistry to the Undergraduate Laboratory

The overall goal of the project is to help design a series of laboratory experiments for General Chemistry I (CH103) that enables students to learn essential laboratory skills while simultaneously reinforcing material that they have learned in class. We will design new laboratories which have an increased focus on the reduction of laboratory waste, the introduction of Green Chemistry, and better integration of technology and instrumentation.
