Abstract:
International relations (IR) - is that branch of political science that essentially deals with relations between nations. The primary focus is basically on the foreign policy of nations. There are many definitions of international relations depending on the context or way one sees it or studies it. IR mean the diplomatic strategic relations of states. Those characteristic focus on international relations is on issues of war and peace, conflict and cooperation. This trend of African marginalization goes beyond the classroom. It is rooted in the dominant international relations theories themselves. With the foregoing perceptions, it is evident that African has long been absent in theorizing about global politics. Three international relations theories that broadly marginalize African, which are: The Neorealism, neoliberalism, and structuralist theories.
