Sidebar Icon Brochure: Welcome to GBC Libraries

The Library Learning Commons is a treasure trove of services & resources to enhance your academic success.

This might be obvious, but we think the library is pretty great. With a mix of traditional resources and modern technology, knowledgeable staff dedicated to your success, unique events, and services designed to help make the most of your time at George Brown College, we’re positive you’ll think so, too.

We’ve been working hard to provide the George Brown community with the full library experience whether classes are on campus or online. Our library isn’t just about books and a place to study; it’s also about connecting you to a network of support for the duration of your academic journey (and beyond!)

Library support comes in many forms. Along with our books and databases we offer tech help, research help, video tutorials and subject guides, spaces to connect and collaborate with your peers, and fun workshops and social events. We pride ourselves on being able to provide the technology you need to succeed, including laptops, iPads and portable wi-fi hotspots; and our library computers are loaded with essential software for each campus.

We can’t wait to meet you virtually and in person to show off our Virtual Reality Labs, 3D Printers, makerspace (at Casa Loma), incredible views of Lake Ontario (at Waterfront Campus) and our brand-new Indigenous art collection.
