What is the TLC?
The Tutoring and Learning Centre, or TLC for short, is an academic support service. The TLC is basically your studying partner whenever (and wherever) you need one. With over 70 tutors and education experts, we provide support in four key areas, that apply to almost all the courses throughout a student’s academic journey.
We’ll help you strengthen these core skills to support you in any course you’re taking at George Brown:
- Academic language and writing skills
- English as a Second Language
- Math and statistics
- Accounting
- Learning and study skills
