International Education Centre

The International Education Centre (IEC) offers programming, supports, and services to all UTM students (international and domestic). 

International & New-to-Canada Student Support – We have certified immigration advisors at the IEC who can assist international students with immigration processes including study permits, working on or off campus, passport renewal, studying part-time, post-graduation work permit and permanent residency at no additional cost. We can also assist with your students’ transition to Canada including health insurance, tax support, and financial resources.  

Programs for Success – We offer internationally focused events and programs that allow students to meet others who share the same interests, provide peer-to-peer support and get connected to the UTM community.  

Global Learning – We offer international opportunities in over 150 countries for academic credit and as co-curricular experience for as short as one week or for up to three semesters abroad. All with funding available based on financial need.
