The project is based on a Theo-Jansen mechanism which is crank-driven and can mimic the motion of a leg. The project consists of an 8-legged walking mechanism that can be remotely controlled and go forward, backward, and make turns. By doing the walking robot consists of 8 legs, 4 of them are in contact with the ground making it more stable. Some of the advantages that makes us go with these kinds of mechanisms are:
