DNP
The DNP program prepares experts in specialized nursing practice. Focus on a population of your choice and develop the clinical expertise and leadership skills to expand your job prospects. Through a combination of coursework, a scholarly project, and supervised clinical hours, you will become an expert clinician and gain advanced knowledge and skills in systems, leadership, program evaluation, informatics, and policy. Seven specialty tracks prepare students for careers as clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, leaders in public health, and nurse managers. PhD
The PhD program prepares students to become leaders in nursing research. Our program provides nurses with the foundation to become leaders in research that advances the scientific basis of nursing and contributes to the health of the public. Program features include a small cohort with close faculty mentorship, involvement in research from the first semester, a strong faculty comprised of award-winning nurse scientists, and a strong commitment to fund PhD students to support full-time study.
