Aim:Presenting the results from our capstone will display the significance and evolution of how pertinent it is to exercise and adopt cultural humility in the delivery of occupational therapy services. It can lead to a clearer justification of how cultural humility development can be an intricate component of therapy practice. Method: Thisis a pilot quasi-experimental pre-and post-test study using a virtual educational platform to explore the level of cultural humility among 10 occupational therapy practitioners in the United States from various health care settings who have at least one year of experience working with minority communities. The Cultural Humility Scale and the Cultural Competency Self-Assessment Checklist were used as pre-and post-test outcome measures. Results: Post-tests measuring both cultural humility and cultural competence demonstrated a significant improvement in the majority of the participants compared to the pre-tests. Conclusion: A targeted learning module on the topic of cultural humility improved perceived cultural humility and cultural competence.
