Canada Post Corporation (CPC) is Canada’s leading postal service provider, responsible for mail and parcel delivery across the nation. Established in 1867, CPC operates as a Crown corporation, meaning it is government-owned but functions independently. The organization offers a broad range of services, including mail delivery, parcel shipping, and retail services, and serves millions of Canadians through its extensive network of post offices and delivery routes. Canada Post is dedicated to enhancing its services, adapting to evolving market needs, and advancing environmental sustainability.
This summer, I worked with the ESG Integration team at Canada Post, focusing on implementing circular economy (CE) strategies within the organization. My projects included benchmarking the maturity of CPC's CE initiatives, recommending improvements for communication, and enhancing the management of durable goods waste as part of their goal to achieve zero waste by 2030.
