The poster briefly summarized my role as a sustainability coordinator at Aecon Group Inc., including my work on developing a double materiality assessment work plan for the sustainability team to guide the future implementation of double materiality assessment, in compliance with the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) standard. Besides, I worked on delivering feasible anti-idling solutions to the team leader to assist in decision-making in sustainability. The work involves displaying the current idling practices at Aecon, estimating fuel and emission savings that Aecon could expect by implementing a few effective anti-idling technologies recommended, and an expected return on investment within timeframes.
Lastly, the poster highlights the skills and knowledge I developed based on the experience, and key takeaways both for myself and all other sustainability professionals.
