Saudi Arabia's Evolution to a Modernized Society
After Mohammad bin Salman descended into Saudi Arabia's politics as a Prince, the country has been standing on the crossroad of a great revolution. With a goal called Vision 2030, which started on the grounds of independence from the oil business, Saudi Arabia is thriving to modernize its country from various perspectives, such as financial, health, and economic. The main purpose of this research is to examine the operations of international companies in Saudi Arabia to understand their adaptation to these institutional and societal changes. This study also provides a specific example of a multinational company, IKEA, that has been operating in the Saudi market and has received backlash from other countries because of its controversial advertising strategy.
