What could decolonized deaf education look like for mainstream settings

This poster intended to prompt reflection on how we can transform the school space to include Deaf Culture assets such as ASL and Deaf space. We would need to decolonize what we know of deaf education to re-imagine different possibilities to reconstruct the mainstream settings that would thrive D/HH students’ learning experience. Role model, representation, and recognition are critical components for D/HH students to become included in the curriculum.
