EcoFest: Climate Change, Disability and Eco-Ableism

People with disabilities are often deprived of their rights, face discrimination, ableism, and also greatly affected by impacts of the climate crisis and environmental issues. Pollution and unsafe jobs not only affect health but also can cause permanent disabilities. Yet, people with disabilities are often left out of the conversations and decision-making for policies that directly impact them. In this session, let's talk about the intersections of disability rights and the environment justice.
