Organic Chemistry Language Assessment Tool (OCLAT) - Acids/Bases and Electronegativity

The Organic Chemistry Language Assessment Tool (OCLAT) measures a student's retention of chemistry language. Being able to communicate chemistry concepts using appropriate terminology is important for achieving mastery of the subject. The OCLAT uses two methods to test students, which are concept maps and CLOZE questions. This presentation focuses on the Acids/Bases and Electronegativity portion of the OCLAT.
