Join the Health Policy and Advocacy Committee for the groundbreaking launch of the NSNA/Columbia University LGBTQ Health Mentorship Program. Increase your knowledge of LGBTQ health among nursing students by developing a one-year LGBTQ health mentorship program for NSNA members. Mentees will participate in a one-year training program consisting of one-on-one mentoring and bi-monthly workshops focused on LGBTQ health topics. Mentees will work with their assigned mentors to complete a final project highlighting clinical, research, and/or policy implications for an LGBTQ health issue of their choice, which will be submitted as a poster to the 2022 NSNA Annual Convention.
