Liam Brooks

Hi! My name is Liam, I’m a 3rd-year Student from Guelph, Ontario and I'm also in the DEM program.

I am super excited to be a mentor for the ICCIT mentorship program. My aim is to give back to the ICCIT community by supporting other students and helping them reach their fullest potential. I want to guide you through your second year, answer any questions you may have, and help put you in a position to succeed!

On a personal note, some of my interests include photoshop, photography, sports (particularly soccer and basketball), running, fire memes, and listening to podcasts.

One of the things that I have realized throughout my time at university is the importance of being proactive. From my personal experience, I've learned that attending networking events, participating in clubs, and taking on various volunteer opportunities are all great ways to become more active in the community.  Doing so not only helps you make connections with other students within the ICCIT community, but it also provides an opportunity for learning and self-growth!
