UTM Life-Science Student Connection (UTMLSC)

This is the first year of the establishment of life science association. Original intention of the club is to make UTM home for every life science students to feel supportive and helpful. We aim to support the Chinese international students or Chinese Canadian students from a life and academic perspective. We are hoping to provide a free, convenient, open environment for communication, learning, discussion of relevant courses, and sharing various resources (on and off campus). We welcome everyone to join this big family. 

Goal:

• Build connection among undergraduates of UTM in life science
• Mentorship: support first-year Chinese students and/or high school students who are interested in life science. Provide details and more information about life-science programs in general. (Or even help with enrolling in courses?)
• Build connects among undergraduates and alumni of UTM in life science
• Help international students to adapt to UTM lifestyle
• Engage study and UTM communication.
• Provide a platform for students to develop extracurricular skills and experiences
