  • A leader in nursing education for more than 50 years, the Department of Nursing—accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)—offers degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s and DNP levels. The BSN prepares students for entry-level practice as a professional nurse in every healthcare setting—acute or chronic care, in hospitals, the community, or home healthcare. BSN graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and to continue their nursing education at the MS or doctorate levels. Here are some key national statistics for nursing careers from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and PayScale.
