  • Founded in 1947, the Boston College William F. Connell School of Nursing (CSON) prepares students to thrive as compassionate nurse leaders in the classroom, in communities, in practice, and through research.

Grounded in Jesuit ideals, the CSON community focuses on nurturing the whole person and promoting social justice—all in an inclusive, supportive environment. As a result, graduates use their knowledge in service to others.

The Connell School offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs, along with continuing education opportunities. Internationally recognized faculty experts are passionate about teaching, advancing clinical science, and empowering new generations of nurses to transform health care around the globe.

Beyond campus, the Connell School helps students hone skills in clinical specialties through partnerships with more than 85 health care facilities in the Greater Boston area. Students and graduates can also leverage an impressive network of nearly 10,000 Connell School alumni to help propel their careers forward.
