  • The Southern Colorado Advanced Practice Nurses Association (SCAPNA) provides a venue for Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Midwives, and other advanced practice nurses (APN) to:

    1.) Network with their nursing peers

    2.) Provide educational opportunities

    3.) Promote the role of APNs

    4.) Serve as a resource for the APN, the healthcare community and consumers of the Pikes Peak region

    The purpose of this organization is to increase the popularity of our common interests. We hope to add new members so we will be able to grow and expand. We also want to have fun while when we are together and working on projects. By developing relationships and friendships, the organization will become even stronger.

    The Southern Colorado Advanced Practice Nurses Association was founded on January 1st, 1997.

    Is to further promote the interests of our organization and our members to the community. We strive to make a difference by educating the public and expanding our reach.
