Welcome

Welcome to Celebrating Teaching Day 2021!

This is the Center for Teaching and Learning's annual event showcasing, recognizing and celebrating all the educators at Georgia Tech who create a challenging yet supportive learning environment for our students. This was our first year hosting this event virtually, due to the pandemic. Though we couldn't gather in person this year, we were excited to still be able to come together virtually.

Here were the key events in this year's Celebrating Teaching Day:

Keynote Presentation and Recognition:
March 9, 2021, 10:45am-12:30pm: Join us for our first live session of Celebrating Teaching Day
10:45am: Welcome from the Center for Teaching and Learning
11:00am: Keynote presentation by Dr. Thomas Tobin, "Assessment Hacks Revealed: Lowering Barriers while Preserving Rigor"
12:00pm: Recognition of CIOS Award and Honor Roll and Thank a Teacher recipients
12:30pm: Program ends

Poster session:
March 11, 2021, 10:45am-12:30pm: Join us for live Q&A with the poster presenters. In addition, all posters are available on the Celebrating Teaching Day event site through May 29th.

The recordings for both the keynote and poster sessions are available now. Click on the respective tiles from the Celebrating Teaching Day lobby in order to view.

We hope that you enjoyed Celebrating Teaching Day 2021!
