    • HELLO MENTEES!!!

     

    My name is Addisan (Addie) Brown. I am a third year CCIT student with a minor in education studies and visual culture studies. I am super excited to meet new people this year and hopefully get to meet everyone in person (fingers crossed 🤞 ) 

     

    I joined mentorship to help newly accepted students and guide them through the journey of university. I know it can be overwhelming especially when we get the question "what do you want to do when you graduate?", trust me I don't even have an answer to this question. I want to help guide you to finding the answer to this question while at the same time, not feeling stressed out about this decision. CCIT is a very broad major and allows students to explore many different fields and I want to help you explore those fields so you have a confident picture of the job you want to receive. 

     

    I was also a mentor at my high school and still to this day talk to all my mentees, I am striving to make the same connection with my mentees this year. I'm also super involved on campus, I'm VP events with ICCIT council, mentorship, Vision journal photography lead, and on the UTM dance team. I had none of these experiences in First-year but can help you find them now like I have.
