Henry Atwater

The purpose of my project is to approximate the interlayer force that exists between layers of graphene in Graphite crystals. In order to do this, I implored the method of Thomas-Fermi-Dirac(a method of applying density functional theory) and created a crude model of graphene layers and approximated the Van Der Waals forces between them.
