Presentation on the 11th Airborne Division’s employment of the 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment into the central mountains and their contribution to the overall success of the Leyte Campaign. Additionally, the airborne community's continual attempts to maintain relevancy in the contemporary Army and its effect on the historiography.
