LW Parks Lectureship in Microbiology

On September 29, 2020, the Leo W. Parks Distinguished Lectureship in Microbiology is expanded to feature three events - a morning panel session on Diversity and Inclusion in Science, afternoon Student Poster Sessions, and the keynote lecture by Dr. Susan Golden of the University of California at San Diego. All are invited to participate in these events through online links provided below. The deadline for poster submission is September 22nd, but all are invited to join the activities throughout the day of “All Things Microbiology”.

The L.W. Parks Distinguished Lectureship in Microbiology is made possible by an endowment honoring Dr. Leo Parks, prior Department Head and faculty member of the NC State University Department of Microbiology. The endowment was created through generous donations made by his former graduate students, faculty, friends, and continuing support by the Parks family.
