Welcome to the School of Nursing at Indiana University South Bend. This is a great time to be seeking a career in Nursing, and we want you to pursue your degree here! We have that small town feel, but a big campus atmosphere and we are still growing. Come grow with us while building your career at a big ten school and earn an Indiana University degree.

The School of Nursing at IU South Bend offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Our undergraduate degree programs are designed for both those looking to enter the nursing profession with a four-year degree and those who already hold an undergraduate degree looking to further their education. Our graduate degrees—Master of Science in Nursing—prepare their graduates for leadership roles in advanced nursing practice as Family Nurse Practitioners, Administrators and Nursing Educators.

The nursing program received a letter of commendation this week from the Indiana State Board of Nursing (ISBN) because the BSN program had 100% of their graduates pass the national licensure exam in the midst of the pandemic. The letter notes that only 10 of 67 programs in the state did so. The letter is available for review here. Much credit should be given to our hardworking faculty and students in the midst of a pandemic when our students continued to learn in the area hospitals who never closed their doors to us.
