We educate professional nurses at the Baccalaureate level to practice in collaborative or leadership roles in hospitals, clinics, and community health care agencies, and at the Master's degree level, students are prepared for advanced practice roles such as, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurse educators, nurse executives and leaders in public health nursing.

The School of Nursing is nationally and internationally recognized for its excellence in nursing education and the quality of its faculty. Our baccalaureate nursing program and the master’s degree program have been awarded full national and state accreditation.
