South Florida Council of Advanced Practice Nurses, Inc.

Thank you for your interest in the South Florida Council of Advanced Practice Nurses. The purpose of our organization is to promote the visibility, viability and unity of all nurses engaged in advanced practice nursing. This will be accomplished through providing current evidence-based practice, educational opportunities and legislative involvement at the local and national levels. The council will foster professional excellence and educational advancement with the ultimate aim of providing quality health care that is both accessible and cost-effective. The nurse practitioner's membership meets the 3rd Monday evening of every other month for the purpose of networking, updating our knowledge base and supporting one another through collegial relationships. Lectures by noted speakers and dinners are provided at every meeting.

As you take the time to visit our website please note we are not an inclusive group of nurses but one part of a network of nurse practitioners with the same purpose. Our ultimate aim is to provide quality health care that is both accessible and cost-effective for our patients and their families. We provide this service by working with and in collaboration with physicians.
