Austin Advanced Practice Nurses

The Austin Area Nurse Practitioner Alliance was organized in 1986 to address the professional needs of local practitioners. In 2003, the organization was renamed Austin Advanced Practice Nurses Association to reflect a broader mission. The goals of the group are the following:

Network and offer peer support

Provide continuing education

Develop awareness of community needs and resources

Maintain awareness of professionally related legislative initiatives

Contribute service to the community and Mentor students
