Youth Mentorship Program (YMP)
The BGCB developed the Youth Mentorship Program, a collaborative initiative with other local youth servicing agencies aimed at providing youth with a safe space for personal growth, support and development. The purpose of the Youth Mentorship Program (YMP) is to support the positive development of high-risk youth through access to consistent, caring adults who will support youth participants to pursue and achieve goals and outcomes related to employment/entrepreneurship, educational achievement and/or civic engagement/leadership.
The Club is the lead organization in the development and execution of the YMP, however has strong community partners with places including (but not limited to) Woodview Mental Health and Autism Services, Why Not Youth Centre, and St Leonard's Community Services.

c) Assist participants to develop and update their Personal Development Plan and Portfolios
d) Support youth to problem-solve specific issues and barriers to achieving their goals
e) Encouraging and coaching youth to achieve their goals
