@UofTGuitarThe U of T Guitar program boasts a rich well-rounded curriculum which provides an exceptional student experience that is flexible and personalized. Our distinguished faculty bring a wide variety of professional experience as educators, performers, entrepreneurs, and researchers to enrich the learning environment.
Small class sizes and a closely knit community with ample opportunities for collaboration across the years are highlights of the program.
The depth and breadth associated with the courses allows for individual nurturing and artistic growth. Specialized courses in Fretboard Harmony and Guitar Pedagogy and History provide targeted professional preparation. The guitar area includes large and small ensemble experience with a guitar orchestra and smaller chamber ensembles, coached by faculty members.
Students also engage in regular master classes hosted by faculty members and visiting artists such as David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, and Judicael Perroy.
